FAQ
Do I travel for weddings?
Yes. The wonderful thing about being in the wedding industry is that it takes me across the country. I'm happy to come to you, wherever you are. In another country? Sign me up.
Can I be your photographer AND videographer?
I'm asked this a lot. Unfortunately I can't do both together at a wedding. Being a wedding with such high pressure moments you need a dedicated photographer and a dedicate videographer. In most cases I film and am videographer, and refer incredible photographers I've worked with over the years.
How many hours do I shoot for at a wedding?
My packages vary between 8-12 hours depending on how long you require coverage for. Every wedding is different. Some weddings are traditional and large with many guests (requiring 12 hours), and others are intimate and smaller (requiring less time). I can highly recommend a timeline to help guide your day. We can chat about your schedule over coffee when we meet.
How many images do I deliver per wedding?
I find on average I deliver between 600-800 high resolution edited images. I use a combination of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop as my editing tools. For video editing I use Da Vinci Resolve.
How does my video package work?
My video package consists of two videos. A highlights cinematic video (3-6min in length) perfect for sharing on social media, and a formalities video (60-90min) which has vows, speeches, first dance, cake cutting, etc.
What gear do I use?
I'm a Sony user. I shoot with two Sony a7iv cameras. Filming high quality 4K video is important to me.
Turn around time for delivery of images/video?
I do my best to aim for about 8 weeks. However it totally depends on the time of year and workload. A busy wedding season can mean delivery at 10 weeks. I always like to get out sneak peeks to Instagram as soon as I can though!
